Positive choice - our path to a positive future

A woman in a brown sweater raises her arms above her head and smiles kindly. In the background is a blue sky.

We love fashion. This passion comes with a great responsibility: Every item of clothing has an impact on the world. It is made by people, consumes resources and has to be disposed of at the end of its life cycle. We want to continuously reduce the negative impact of our products on the environment and people. A little more with every positive decision.

Our compass

We are convinced that the fashion industry must become more transparent and circular and make its contribution to climate protection. We believe in this change and want to play an active role in shaping it with our positive choice strategy. To this end, we have set ourselves binding targets in five areas of action.

positive making

We reduced our greenhouse gas emissions from our own operations by 39% between 2018 and 2023.

Science-based targets for measurable climate protection

Limiting the effects of climate change is one of the most important tasks of our time. For us, this means looking deep into our supply chain and initiating change where it will have the greatest impact.

Change begins with the design

Thinking about the next life of our products right from the design stage. Choosing materials and processes that conserve natural resources. Supporting initiatives that improve the lives of people in our supply chain. This is how we create "positive products".

The image shows a green graphic titled "Positive Choice" in the middle. It is surrounded by a circle of five elements: Positive View, Positive Circle, Positive Making, Positive Partners and Positive Products. Each element has a symbol.

Transparency is the key to change

We can only change what we know. That's why transparency in our supply chain is so important to us. Who is involved in the production of our products? Where do the raw materials come from? What ecological impact does this have? If we show all of this to our customers, they can also make better decisions. For us, transparency is also the most important basis for trust.

Human rights are non-negotiable

Our fashion should feel good - and not just for the person wearing it. This positive feeling should be shared by everyone who holds a bonprix product in their hands - from the seamstress in Bangladesh, for example, to the customer. positive partners - this is how we understand the cooperation with our suppliers.
